MountainCity to Headline Free Concert at Wellspring’s Summer Celebration

(Castle Rock, CO)  MountainCity, Colorado’s own husband and wife, singer/songwriter, folk-pop duo, will headline at Wellspring Community’s annual Summer Celebration on July 28, 2017.

Wellspring Community Summer Celebration at The Miller Activity Complex Amphitheater, 1375 W. Plum Creek Parkway, Castle Rock, CO. FREE event, July 28, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. MountainCity will headline.

Wellspring’s Summer Celebration is open to the public. It’s being held at The City of Castlerock’s brand new Miller Activity Center Outdoor Amphitheater, with a seating capacity of 2500. General festivities begin at 5 p.m. with musical performances by the Wellspring Dance Team, Madeline Garcia and MountainCity, among others, kicking off at 6:30 p.m.  

“We’re excited to get to sing our love songs where everyone is invited to attend,” Tara Powers of MountainCity said. “But more than that, we are happy to introduce you to Wellspring. They work with adults who have special needs. They love on them, provide art and music classes, swimming and dance, baking and so much more.”

The event  is being held to showcase the Wellspring Community program, where they “empower the lives of adults with special needs,” and to show appreciation for the support they have received from Castle Rock citizens, according to Lance Wieland, part of MountainCity’s management team.

MountainCity hopes to see their friends and fans at the concert. “Dave and I spent the day at Wellspring recently and we just fell in love with everyone, “Tara said. “We hope you’ll come out to learn more about this terrific organization and dance with us on July 28th!”
