MountainCity’s Facebook Live Schedule for Summer ‘17

(Denver, CO –posted by Jeanie Rhoades)  Dave and Tara  Powers, the husband-wife duo known as MountainCity, announced last week that they would be changing up the FB Live summer viewing schedule. Because they’ll continue to record in the studio, and be travelling and enjoying the summer together with their two young sons, and because they know summer is a busy time for many people, they have decided to stream three events, instead of the usual weekly Facebook Live stream broadcasts.

MountainCity has been streaming weekly via Facebook since last November. Each week at 7:30 pm MST, they have performed their songs (including sneak peeks of music they have yet to record), interviewed other artists and bands and even enjoyed live interaction with viewers who can ask questions or make comments during the stream.

Summer Schedule

But MountainCity has announced a partial hiatus. Instead of the weekly stream, they will present 3, hour-long Facebook Live streams during the Summer of ’17. Each will air at 7:30 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST), as usual. The dates are:

Wednesday, June 21, 2017 7:30 pm MST

Wednesday, July 19, 2017 7:30 pm MST

Friday, August 11, 2017  7:30 pm MST

You can watch the broadcast live on Facebook on the MountainCityMusic on Facebook (go ahead and like their page now and get notifications when they go live). The video will continue to be available on their Facebook page once the stream is over.

These three FB LIve events will feature a MountainCity mini-concert. Dave and Tara will be performing for a live audience, friends who have gathered for the Live stream. They hope you’ll put these dates on your calendar and join in the fun!

Would you like to host a MountainCity House Concert?

“We plan to put a lot of our energy into House Concerts,” Dave Powers told us. “We have done a number of them and we love getting about 30-40 people into a room just to see what happens.”

A House Concert can be held in a barn, a backyard, an apartment rec room or any space where there is room for friends to gather.

If you are interested in hosting a private MountainCity House Concert in the Denver metro area, or along the Colorado Front Range for select friends on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evening, you may reach MountainCity booking via the website CONTACT PAGE, or below. Be sure to include “House Concert” in your message.

Dave would like to thank his sponsor, Grosh Guitars!

Dave Powers loves Grosh Guitars!

Here is what Dave has to say about Grosh Guitars:

“Man, I LOVE Grosh Guitars! I’ve had the privilege of being a part of their Family of Artists since 2010, and I’ll tell ya, I haven’t played on a better electric guitar in my life! The action is UNBELIEVABLE, the craftsmanship and quality is untouchable, the hand-wound pickups are like a giant pile of butter…I HIGHLY recommend you checking out their stuff! These guitars are made in the good ol’ U.S.A., which makes me very happy!
